Stayin' Cool on a Hot Day!

It was soooo hot & humid today! Kylie and I took a walk to the park and needed to cool off when we got home. She's sportin' her new swimming suit she got from her great-grandma Hughey.

Nothin' like some Cheerios to snack on while dryin' off! She calls them her "O's"

Stacking blocks and kicking them down...so much fun! Can't forget the blue ring on the leg! ;)

Kylie loves to play in the fountain at church. She gets to do it AFTER church is out b/c she usually gets soaked! :)

We were on a walk on Saturday and stopped at a garage sale uptown. Kylie got some fake flowers! To her they were just as fun to smell as real ones! Not bad for 10 cents!

It's so helpful when Kylie wants to push the stoller herself! ;)

She had just fallen...you can see the nice scrape on her knee. 3 days later she still points to it and says "ouch"...so, I kiss it and it makes it all better again. :)

June Fun!

So far June has been a lot of fun. We've enjoyed some great "Mommy/Daughter" time! :)

We went up-town for "Thursday nights in Pella." Kylie was pretty stoked with her little frog and balloon. We had a great night!

On our walks Kylie likes to stop and smell the flowers. :) It's a good lesson for me to remember!

In May we welcomed some beautiful weather. We got to be outside a lot more, and even got a sweet little pink pool for Kylie...she loves it! At the end of the month Kurt left for Tanzania with 6 Central College students. They don't get back til the end of June!
